Puppy Channel tops our list of web sites to peruse New on the ‘net: Pooch parade: If watching a single Puppy Cam isn’t enough for you, check out the newly relaunched Puppy Channel, at www.thepuppychannel.com. The site offers professionally edited videos that are “a lot more fun, a lot more varied and more interesting” than a single static camera, says Dan FitzSimons, the Cleveland advertising and marketing guy who first dreamed up the channel, for television, more than a decade ago. Its social networking and other features include an invitation for users to nominate the next White House puppy. Politics have their season and financial markets go up and down, FitzSimons said, but “America’s love for puppies is constant.”
