By Laurie Denger | Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 12:38 PM
So you’re having a bad day. Everything you touch has gone wrong. You need puppies. Thepuppychannel.com can put you in a much better mood and make all your cares go away. The video of border collie puppies meeting a cat will make you laugh out loud. The Web site is even weighing in on the choice of a dog for the new First Family. The originators of the Web site say with these trying economic times, who couldn’t use a “puppy break?”
The Portal: A guide to new and cool stuff
Thepuppychannel.com recently relaunched with new technology, free video players and White House dog nominations. It bills itself as a Web site dedicated to "all things puppies." Puppy Channel tops our list of web sites to peruse New on the 'net: Pooch parade: If watching a single Puppy Cam isn't enough for you, check out the newly relaunched Puppy Channel, at www.thepuppychannel.com. The site offers professionally edited videos that are "a lot more fun, a lot more varied and more interesting” than a single static camera, says Dan FitzSimons, the Cleveland advertising and marketing guy who first dreamed up the channel, for television, more than a decade ago. Its social networking and other features include an invitation for users to nominate the next White House puppy. Politics have their season and financial markets go up and down, FitzSimons said, but “America’s love for puppies is constant.”

All Puppies, All The Time
November 21st, 2008 by Jeanmarie Evelly
. . . I came across the story of a man who . . . decided it would be great if there was a channel . . . that was pleasant, soothing and void of all the noise that characterizes most television. Dan FitzSimons’ idea? The Puppy Channel . . .
At first glance, FitzSimons’ idea made me laugh out loud, especially the Puppy Channel jingles, composed by FitzSimons himself. These songs include: “Puppies, Puppies, Puppies…” “I Love the Little Puppies,” and “Puppies Are Everywhere.” . . .
But it looks like FitzSimons may have been on to something. A blog post on The Guardian describes a live puppy cam that’s getting tons of hits as the newest internet sensation . . . I was skeptical at first. But, seriously, it’s kind of the cutest thing ever. I guess FitzSimons was right: people just downright love puppies.

Also, we have a VIDEO of the CHANNEMALSSM founder talking about long-term plans for The Puppy Channel®.
Warning: It's 8 minutes long. And he sings the “Puppies, Puppies, Puppies” jingle in the first few minutes. (You might want to fast-forward through that.)
Among other things, he talks about The Puppy Channel on TV, which could really happen --- after you've made us a big hit on the Internet!
